Happy Spring equinox and Persian New Year! Even though I don't love spring (dry winds, brilliant sunny days but deceptively cold. . .) I do enjoy a few things that come with it.
Some things I can appreciate about Spring:
Perusing Pinterest is an adult hobby of mine. It's relaxing and soothing. Hobbies capable of having that affect on me are my jam. A lot of people associate Pinterest with “Pinterest Fails”. Fortunately, I can not say that I have experienced any of those. Maybe it’s because I am not interested in trying a recipe that requires intricate art with frosting, or layers upon layers of a something baked. Or maybe its because I am the type of person that would not dare try a recipe without comparing it to at least 3 others along with thoroughly reading the reviews. Reviews that actually say how tasty the recipe was, not just, “Can’t wait to try this!”, mind you.
Joseph gets home from tour on Easter so I am planning a nice welcome home dinner for him, maybe with a couple friends. Here's what I am making.
Before the beginning of a new season, I spend time on Pinterest in search of seasonal recipes to try in the upcoming months. I pinned my Easter recipes onto my a "Spring Eats" board as well as a few other recipes I'll be making this season. If you are on Pinterest, follow my profile and you'll see the boards I have made with recipes and inspiration for each future upcoming season.
