I was in Nashville almost every week for 3 months, visiting my darling husband on his off days throughout tour. We ate our way through that town every week and still didn't get to try all the spots on my list! Here's where we went and where you should go too. Click the links above the photos if you're like me and need to see social media accounts, yelp reviews AND photos, and read the menu on the website before deciding if a place is worth your time and money. Enjoy a taste of the south! Your taste buds will not be disappointed.
We ate southern food
3 words - biscuits and gravy. Also, fried chicken. As sickeningly delicious southern comfort food you can ingest.
Get the fried broccoli and a fun adult beverage. Play a game of bowling if your into that kinda thing.
We went here for Valentines day. So many amazing farm to table options. We got the tartare and duck. Drool.
We drank coffee
V cool coffee shop vibe with a delicious pour over. Coffee in this city is an arm and leg so just be ready for that.
Different location, same great stuff. Everyone in Nashville loves Barista Parlor. You should too.
The homey coffee shop with food all day and turmeric latte on point. That's all I got every time.
You feel like everyone is a somebody at this coffee shop. Great cappuccinos and avo toast - duh.
We Ate Tacos
The best fried avo taco, fish taco, tortilla soup, elote, and lilikoi marg ever! Skip the line and sneak up to the bar.
Um, yum. Everything. Busy, busy, grab a drink at the bar while you wait. Elote and tacos - Nash does this well.
everything in between
When you need a cleanse from all the biscuits and gravy, tacos and margs. Juice, coffee, booch and açaí.
"The Best Burgers in Nashville" they say. You decide. I'd go back for the beer garden. The burgers too, actually.
Jeni's is THE neighborhood ice cream spot. All the samples, flight options, and flavors. It's like a southern hug.
Endless options! Read the menu to know all your choices. We got an everything bagel w garlic cream cheese omg
I'm more a ramen girl but this pho was good. The bahn mi was even better. If Vietnamese is your thing, go.
